Thanks! It can be a really nice example to document in the README. A few comments:

Im currently playing with this, it might be correct
here it is building ...
so it appears to be doing the override thing, the bits of kfrag.dyndbg are in sequence
Andrea, heres -r builds/bar working as you described
virtme_link_mods is getting the builds/bar path component. the use of O=builds/foo for building, is building and then running in a single vng invocation a 1st class scenario ? any thoughts on a selftest facility ? |

IMO configkernel has a bug, possibly 2: make O=outdir defconfig Automatically generated by /home/jimc/projects/lx/linux.git/Makefile: don't editinclude /home/jimc/projects/lx/linux.git/Makefile this allows make from that output directory to work configkernel does not do this. Also, into a nonexistent outdir, configkernel can be induced to It might be due to --defconfig having both a maketarget and an updatetarget
a look at src/.config says its the config appended by config-kernel, to the wrong place

Ive used this script recently to fill out my test coverage.
It could be improved and generalized, but more to the point,
it could be a decent example for readme.
What would improve it for that purpose ?
(besides brevity)
a comparable example using vng would be useful,
I havent yet worked one out.
