Getting started

The ARIES beta release, scheduled for summer 2011, brings the
ARIES ecosystem service explorer online for public use. The beta
release includes models of eight ecosystem services across seven
geographic case study regions. Members of the ARIES Consortium
can assist you in developing new case studies or new ecosystem service
models for ARIES. Our vision is to make generalized global models
accessible in future releases of ARIES. The global models will be
supported by an increasing number of local case studies utilizing
higher resolution local data and models that account for locally unique
conditions relevant to ecosystem service provision and use.
