Arbor's Midas Archive

The Arbor project maintains persistent storage for datasets, testcases, and other digital content on a Midas installation (www.midas.org) maintained by Kitware. Midas is an excellent web-accessible repository, but doesn't include a place for special metadata descriptions or comments about the stored content, so important archived items are described here.

Note: The Arbor community site in Midas is currently not public, so a login is required before the Arbor repository is visible.

Archive contents:

  1. Datasets - Phylogenetic trees and associated character matrices used to test and evaluate Arbor are stored here.

  2. TestCases - Our project proposal specifically mentions Test Cases, which advance the state of the art in phylogenetic biology. Supporting datafiles and related instructions are stored here, organized by each test case.
