Ogg Vorbis playback doesn't work

When trying to play an ogg vorbis encoded file it is skipped after about 1-2 seconds of loading time.
I tried several different music players all with the same result.

Strangely when placing the same file in the "Ringtones" folder playback as ringtone works fine.

I don't know if this is gohan specific, but a friend of mine could play a testfile without problems on a different device. So it doesn't seem to be a general LineageOS problem.
