Connect 2.4.5 - Polished Connect-V3 Project Plan Section
- This release contains Many UI related changes for improved and polished UX for Connect-V3. Few of the major changes are -

Connect 2.4.3 release - Introducing Project Plan
This release introduces project plan for new projects which allows creating a simple game plan for the project that is divided in phases.
Connect V3 - MVP Prod Release [ProjectPlan & Timelines]
This release in Connect has significantly improved our milestone (timeline) and chat functionality. Read below for a recap on the benefits of this release.
Also note that brief demo video will be following shortly to showcase the functionality.
- Phase timeline (new feature):
- See in details what are the milestones in each phase, and where we are on the process
- Milestones are interactive - select your design options, final designs, or prototypes directly from the phase timeline; and allow the customer quickly to make a decision on important questions
- Delivery on the timeline - final deliverables are provided as a .zip archive at the end of the phase, and stay available for the customer indefinitely
- The timeline is an accurate picture of when things are going to happen - each milestone has a planned date; and once a milestone is reached, we have a historical record of what happened on the project.
- Fullscreen chat (new feature):
- Focus on your conversation in fullscreen mode (double arrows on the post card);
- Navigate between all your discussion topics (on the left sidebar).

Email bundling and settings updates
This release added following features to the product:
- Connect's own email settings page instead of redirecting user to the profile page for email settings updates which never had connect related email settings.
- Bundling support for notifications emails (this release only sends emails for messaging events, we would add support for rest of the project events in upcoming release)
- Mobile friendly error and new customer's landing page
We have also synced the release version with the our internal product management tool's releases. So, this release is 2.4.2 instead of 1.5.2.
Connect Mobile Responsive - Phase II (Final Changes)
Final changes for the Connect mobile responsive are part of this release.Feature/Pages made responsive are -
1.Creating a project
2.Notifications
3.Notifications Setting
4.Specifications
Other than responsive changes, change for showing sorted notifications to the user is also part of the release
Dependent release which contains phase-I changes for mobile responsiveness -
Discourse free messaging backend and responsiveness for mobile
- Now it is backed via our own database instead of discourse. We should not be limited by discourse limitation any more.
- Now we have a link in notification email which takes user to the project’s discussion page.
- Supports email forwarding for cases where local part of both the emails are same
- Only posts the content of current email when replying the notification email to post a comment
- Support better filtering of email notifications where a user is mentioned. Now you can filter out your mentioned emails with
ccfilter for a specific email address(e.g. mentioned DOT connect AT topcoder DOT com). - This release does not support expanding of links using meta or open graph tags. Discourse based messaging used to support that. We may support this feature in upcoming releases.
- This release also supports mobile responsive UI. It includes phase 1 changes only.
