Can someone please explain why "ignores" does not seem to work?

Am I doing something wrong? I'm using this package with Nuxt.

I have managed to get rules working etc but I don't want them run against some files that are generated by my development flow (auto-generated types etc).

None of these work:

Nothing I do seems to work. Perhaps I misunderstood something?
