failing to find installed collections/modules

I can't figure out what I am missing here, but I cannot get the linter to see modules from other collections.

Hi @djdanielsson

You may need to specify ANSIBLE_LIBRARY environment variable with the collections install path as you defined install path in galaxy install command. Something like :

I have the same problem regarding using community.general. I've also tried the environment variable option as suggested above but with no success.

If you create a requirements.yml file, the linter will know to install the required collections. Some requirements apply for running the linter from the command line, so that not really specific to this action.

so I don't understand what changed but it does now work.... I had a requirements.yml file before and didn't change anything on my side just re-ran the last failed job but it does now see the file and pull the collections.

Maybe it failed to install collections from galaxy? But if that happens you can still the that error. Maybe it was an older version. At least it WORKS!

@ssbarnea while the requirements.yml works I do not thing it is the cleanest approach. On the Github runners a bunch of collections are already installed but the are not located on the COLLECTIONS path. So we either have to re-install the ones we need (which is what requirements.yml does) or we need to update the COLLECTIONS path in the workflow to point to where the runner's collections are installed.
