SUMMARY

As were spotted in #668, there was an undocumented alias user for the name argument. We should deprecated it now with a warning message and remove it in 5.0.0

Because it wasn't there (in the docs) from time immemorial, so i believe:

• there's no need to introduce more aliases that bring more confusion generally
