this needs migration of timers between inner wheels per original paper, the way it's rounding up is up to 50% error on the timer as far I see the code right now. Still looking ...

Absolutely true. For my immediate use case this wasn't a problem, but it also shouldn't be too hard to fix. I don't have much time to work on this at the moment, so if you want to take a stab at it I would appreciate it. Otherwise I will try to get to it soon.
