What are you trying to do that you can't?

One risk for any organization is that there is some catastrophic data loss. If that happens, only the maintainer can do a restore, and it would be a difficult restore to do.

What is your idea?

Permit individuals to be able to automatically export and import a full organization's data in some serialized format. This would require both some way to authenticate into the database automatically, and a way to serialize from the Postgres database and deserialize into the Postgres database.

This was a feature requested by UW iSchool IT.
