Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Affected Build(s)

v0.5.1

Description of Issue

Trying to change your Mii in games does not open the menu, in fact it switches to a default Mii named Citra, with no way to change it. Even if the game originally used your Mii, trying to change it forces the generic one on you.

Expected Behavior

You should be able to select a Mii you created or a Guest Mii.

Reproduction Steps

(I wrote this when I encountered the issue on Mario Kart 7, but it does apply to all games)

  1. Open Mario Kart 7
  2. Select the Mario Kart Channel
  3. Select the Mii button at the bottom right of the bottom screen
  4. Press the Change Mii button

Log File

citra_log.txt

System Configuration

HMD: Quest 3 running v69

(Note when editing: I have since checked the known issues, and the Mii menu not showing up is there. HOWEVER you cannot override the default like it says, I have created several Miis and instead of games selecting a user-made Mii, it always picks a default male Mii named Citra.)

I have since tested other games and yeah this is an issue everywhere. It also seemed to be an issue in base Citra Android, as I found a couple posts of people also experiencing this.
