Not working on Redmine 3.4.x

I've tried to install the plugin on Redmine 3.4.x and unfortunately it does not work. The issue page fails to load with error 500.

FYI,
I had the same problem. but I found out that code forked by gsmetal as below:
https://github.com/flant/redmine_already_read
It works perfectly for my Redmine 3.4.10. Plus, It can update read or unread marks at once by context menu. I love the function.

To be honest, I think I solved it by using another plugin, which we still use. Here you go:
