What package is missing from Amazon Linux 2023? Please describe and include package name.
mosh the mobile shell, a dropin replacement for ssh that works better with unreliable internet connections
https://mosh.org/
Is this an update to existing package or new package request?
New package request
Is this package available in Amazon Linux 2? If it is available via external sources such as EPEL, please specify.
I'm not sure whether it's available in Amazon Linux 2. It's available in Fedore: https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/mosh/mosh/
Any additional information you'd like to include. (use-cases, etc)
There are various threads that discuss how to add mosh to Amazon Linux, so I'm definitely not the only one interested
