Currently the plugin only works if you have a custom control scheme (= made at least a single change to the binds).
Technically it could also read the correct preset from the installation directory if a standard one is in use.
Practically this is the lowest of low priorities since all the default control schemes are missing a couple of essential binds, so you’re going to have to change/add some anyway.

So I was thinking about implementing this; after all, it’s just a second directory to look for binds files in if I can’t find any in the usual place, right? RIGHT⁈
Currently wondering where I could get Elite’s installation path from :)
Because of this entire Oddity/Horizons fiasco and default presets possibly being different … all I can really do is watch for an Elite process, then grab the defaults from its installation folder. Not sure if it’s worth the effort.
