How to predict pitch parameters (period or correlation)

LPCNet needs 20 features (18 Bark-scale cepstral coefs + 2 pitch params), whereas Tacotron-2 predicts mel-specs. I believe we can get the 18-Bark-ceps coefs by some transformation from mel-specs or directly training from Tacotron. However, how could we get period and correlation?
