AisHierarchicalMenu is not expanded at page loading

I was trying to add AisBreadcrumb within our solution and this component is rendered based on the hierarchical menu. But, AisHierachicalMenu is expaned only if I have something like this in URL: "products/mens/clothing/?hierarchicalMenu=Men+Look+at+this_Clothing_Shirts". So, if this part "?hierarchicalMenu=Men+Look+at+this_Clothing_Shirts" is missing, then the HierarchicalMenu is not expended, so the Breadcrumb is not rendered.

How can I set up the AisHierarchicalMenu such that is expended if I have an URL of this type "www.appName.com/products/mens/clothing/"?
