Rich Select multiple placeholder not rendering

I've noticed this behavior on and off, usually when I'm updating a form. What happens is that the placeholder doesn't load but the data is correct and if I click to open the select the data is actually selected but the placeholder shows like if nothing was selected.

This is how it looks when it works correctly

This is how I'm using this particular select where user_roles is a simple array with a value and label.

<t-rich-select :value="form.user_roles" multiple :close-on-select="false" placeholder="Seleccionar Roles de Usuario" :options="user_roles"/>

What could be causing this, is there something that I missed?
