on-hold

We are currently trying to focus on other things. :fire:

fixed in master

Thank you for reporting this issue. We think, that is already fixed in our development version and consequently the change will be included in the next release.

We would like to ask you to use a development build from https://builds.jabref.org/master and report back if it works for you. Please remember to make a backup of your library before trying-out this version.

Only in very seldom cases (such as JabRef not starting at all on some OS), add this text:

We leave this issue open until the next release to keep other users reporting the same issue.

fixed in a branch

There is a version that should fix this at http://builds.jabref.org/BRANCHNAME/ (in 15 minutes or so). Please try it out.

second review pending

Besides minor comments, LGTM :+1:. The changes need a second review and thus this PR awaits a second review.

no money

We currently have no money to pay someone for that. Thus, it depends on the availability of our free time. - If you can spend some more time, we would like to encourage you to check https://help.jabref.org/en/FAQcontributing - especially the part asking for improvement of our help pages <https://help.jabref.org/en/>. We have plenty of open issues there: https://github.com/JabRef/help.jabref.org/issues/

no volunteers

No one volunteers to implement that. Feel free to reopen if you know someone who will implement that feature.
