webMAN MOD Setup

Access 0/setup.ps3 from the PS3 Internet browser to configure the plugin settings.

From a remote PC, smarphone or tablet access http://ps3-ip-address/setup.ps3

This page can be accessed from XMB > Game > webMAN MOD Setup > PS3 webMAN [Setup] or from sLaunchMOD / VSH menu.

Scan for Content

Expand the section Scan for Content to configure the USB ports and the content type allowed to be scanned. Scan for Content

Next to each content type, there are additional options:

  • /app_home = Add ★ app_home/PS3_GAME or ★ PlayStation®3 on HEN. The option when enabled also mounts PS3 ISO on app_home.
  • GAMEI = Scan GAMEI folder. This option allows to mount extracted PSN packages from USB devices and ps3netsrv
  • Show PS2 Classic Launcher = lists the PS2 Classic Launcher in the PS2 sub-folder for easier access
  • Auto CONFIG = this option copies the PS2 CONFIG to PS2ISO (if the CONFIG is found and PS2 ISO doesn't have one)
  • ps1_netemu = Mount PS1 games using ps1_netemu, instead of the default emulator ps1_emu
  • ps1_bios.bin = Use the external /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/ps1_bios.bin instead of the default /dev_flash/ps1emu/ps1_rom.bin
  • Show PSP Launcher = lists the PSP Launcher in the PSP sub-folder for easier access
  • Show Video sub-folder = lists the RetroXMB videos in Bluray & DVD folder
  • wm_ignore.txt = configure the file names to ignore during the scanning for content

Activate up to 5 remote servers and configure the IP address and port (default 38008). For more information on ps3netsrv visit PS3 NET Server section

Expand webMAN MOD Setup section to configure various settings related to startup, sound, startup notification, apply noBD patch, disable background services, FTP password, restrict remote access to certain IP address, etc.

This section configures the webMAN Games menu on XMB, the covers, game title, auto-play options, cheats using Artemis engine, etc.

⚠️IMPORTANT: It's highly recommended to check Disable content scan on startup after installation.

  • Covers: MM COVERS = Use local covers, ICON0.PNG = show PS3 default icon, DISC ICONS = show disc icons, ONLINE COVERS = show local+online covers
  • Languages: XMB and web GUI language. Choose among 23 languages. Some modules are English only.
  • PARAM.SFO: Check to display game title from PARAM.SFO. Uncheck to display file name.
  • Info: Select additional to information show on game lists: Path + ID + Version + Tags (ISO/PS3/PS2/PS1/HDD/NTFS/etc)
  • Mount Info: 1=Show initial popup when game is mounted, 2=Show a popup when a game is mounted and on web commands
  • XMB Media: Music=Play music when plugin start, Video=Play video when plugin start
  • sMAN GUI: Check for sMAN GUI (blue+gray). Uncheck for original webMAN GUI (black+white)
  • Artemis: Enable internal Artemis cheats engine

IDPS & MEM Setup

IDPS & MEM Setup

This section configures spoofing of IDPS & PSID, disable CFW syscalls at system startup, selects the extended content profile, memory usage during content scanning and folder listing, BD & DVD regions, video recording settings.

Profile: selects the current extended content profile 1-4. This extends the scanning to GAMES_1, PS3ISO_1, PSXISO_1, ROMS_1, etc. for profile 1.
Use combo SELECT+L3 (+R2=profile1, +L2=profile2, +R1=profile3, +L1=profile4) to scan the additional content. Reload XMB to see the changes.

There are links to reset /dev_htmp/tmp/wm_config.bin to the default values, clear wmtmp folder, delete history, rebuild system, access recovery menu (NOR only) or toggle noBD mode.

Home lets define the path of a default application to mount in app_home when a game is unmounted.
Home path can be used also to define the default search in path used by the web command /<folder-name>

R2+START will open the application, the web command or the URL defined in the Home path

XMB/In-Game PAD Shortcuts

XMB/In-Game PAD Shortcuts

This section lets disable specific PAD shortcuts that could cause conflicts with other applications.

  • PS3 DISC = Disable syscalls when a physical PS3 game disc is mounted
  • CCAPI = Option to disable old CCAPI syscalls 200, 201, 202, 203, 204 (obsolete)
  • PS3MAPI = Enable or disable PS3MAPI server. Restore CFW syscalls requires PS3MAPI enabled.
