Install the plugin, like any other plugin. See http://docs.moodle.org/en/Installing_plugins for details on installing Moodle plugins.
To enable the plugin :
- Go to Settings -> Site administration -> Plugins -> Filters to configure.
- IF you also have urltolink filter enabled ensure that codepen is filtered first
