I think leaving a timer running for multiple days is not caught by the auto shutoff feature, or possibly the turn over of the month:
error: End time must be on the same day as start time: 2017-09-29 13:42:00 -0400 : 2017-10-02 10:49:00 -0400
Also -- a message that a previous time entry was ended should display to user.
