I'd love to be able to use the microphone on my ear buds.

This works on my Galaxy S3 with CM10.1 and on my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (also CM10.1).

I have a nexus 4 with stock 4.2. I wonder why it doesn't work.

That should work fine with a headphone microphone, I tested with one on a Nexus 4 running 4.2 as well and it seemed fine.

Is it possible to use plumble with PTT solely through a wired or bluetooth headset?

Important is that the app tries to reconnect continuously if disconnected, and goes back into the same channel automatically. This way it would be possible to actually use plumble while walking, driving, biking and not having to take out the phone to talk/reconnect.

If this is possible I'd gladly donate 50$. Cheers! /a

Hi,

I haven't tested it, but if there is a button on your wired headset you /should/ be able to bind it in settings.

Bluetooth headset support is currently under development as well, just waiting to get my hands on a decent headset with a button to test PTT.

With regards to the auto-reconnect feature, if I have some time tonight I'll add that :)

Hey Morlunk... Nice to hear from you.

We just tested the wired headset and it does work (Samsung S4 original) w. hardware ptt. One issue did come up though and it's that after using it for like 5-10 seconds the transmission from the handset stops working. The icon turns red like normal but nothing is heard. The user is required to disconnect the headset to enable transmitting again. During this it's still possible to hear others.

I've read somewhere other people having the same issue. Could it be limited to this android version? (4.2)

This fixed and the auto reconnect/rejoin could take this concept to a whole new level. Up the usage a whole lot!

Take it easy.. /a

I have the Galaxy J5 (Android 6.0.1) and the issue is still here. I am unable to select the headset microphone from Plumble.
