- Clone this repo to your local machine using the following command:

- You can either create a virtual environment or install the dependencies globally. We recommend using a virtual environment. To create a virtual environment, run the following command:
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
- Download the dependencies using the following command:
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Create a
.env file in the root directory and add the following environment variables:
DB_USER="your_db_username"
DB_HOST="your_db_host"
DB_PASSWORD="your_db_password"
DB_NAME="your_db_name"
- Run the following commands to create the database and apply migrations:
python manage.py makemigrations
python manage.py migrate
- Create a superuser to access the admin dashboard using the following command:
python manage.py createsuperuser
- Run the following command to start the server:
python manage.py runserver 0.0.0.0:8000
- You can now access the site at
http://localhost:8000/.
