Make build ID available? #192

I came across a situation recently where it would have been helpful to have a build ID available in the code.

I wonder if we could automatically make it available for all aunty projects. Something like this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38400314/including-git-commit-hash-and-date-in-webpack-build
