Not finding every device #132
Comments
Hi, thanks! What do you mean by the LAN connected devices? Your wifi devices should be part of your LAN as well. Are the wifi devices on a different subnet than your other devices? |
Sorry for the late response. Devices connected wireless, e.g. (smartphones, tables) are not. |
No worries. Are the wifi connected devices on a different subnet from where you're running the app? Are they segmented in any way? |
They are on the same subnet. As an example: Only the router and the computer seemed to be detectable. Wifi connected devices are not shown. |
any Idea is welcome |
Hmm...it must be something unique to your topology. I haven't heard any reports about this and can't reproduce it on my end. My guess is that your network has client isolation enabled (AKA AP isolation). |
Hi, first of all I appreciate your work and effort you put in this app.
Unfortunately I discovered something weird.
The app does not detect every device on my network that is connected via wifi.
Just the LAN connected devices are "visible".
Is this a bug?
