Make the Pancake

1. Download the model

Select the best version for your needs:

1x 10x2mm Vibration Motor required 2x M3 Nuts required Easy to apply and remove
haptic_pancake_v1.0.stl
haptic_pancake_v2.0_M3.stl

I personally recommend the updated version, but if you can't get the M3 screws, the first version would be sufficient as well.

2. Print the model

(Or use a printing service)

I designed the models to be easy to print. Lay them flat on the print bed and print them using 0.16mm as layer height.

3. Placing parts into the pancake

Snap the motor inside its socket as it is shown on the following picture:

  1. Place the motor first (You can peel off the paper from its backside and glue it to its socket)
  2. Insert the motor's cables into the holes located on the side of the nut panel. Red cable goes to the right one, Black/Blue goes to the left one.
  3. Place the nuts inside their sockets and apply pressure to them until it snaps into place.

4. Applying the pancake on the tracker

Attach the cables according to the image. Push the Pogo pins a bit down with one finger and snap the cable inside its locking mechanism.

Lay it flat on the tracker with the nuts facing downward and snapping into the Pogo pin hole.

5. Screw back your tracker on your strap
