A generic error occured in GDI+ MJPEG

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Adding IP camera using MJPEG

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Get message "A generic error occured in GDI+"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.8.4.0 Windows Server 8 (Virtual) running on Vmware on HP microserver N36L

Please provide any additional information below.
Only seems to happen on the above combination, have set this up on virtual 
server on Intel chipset with no problems and on Windows 7 without issues, 
wondered if its related to amd chipset??
Can add camera using JPEG but not MJPEG
