Hello and welcome!

We're opening up GitHub discussions for Resonite so we can have better structured discourse about development of Resonite, particularly relating to large issues and features.

Unlike individual Issues, discussions allow for threading, which can make discussing large topics easier to structure and read, especially when there are many different things being discussed relating to a single overall issue.

A good way to think about the difference is that:

• Issue - an action item - something to be done, with discussion more focused on getting the issue out of the way
• Discussion - open discourse about given topic, item or set of items - we can talk more in different directions, discuss things back and forth, without cluttering the issue

From given discussions, we'd ideally also extract action items and some bullet points for each issue that we can work on.
