Slimes don't grow/divide even fed, unless they can see a monkey.
A baby slime will eat a monkey and not mature unless it can see a monkey
A baby slime will have been fed but only become adult if you pull a monkey out of your bag and it looks at it next to you or in it's pen.
An adult slime will not divide until you pull a monkey out of your bag and it can look at it next to you or in it's pen.
It leads to accidents where you think you're feeding a baby slime,
but it's in fact going to see the monkey arrive in the pen trough disposal,
grow into an adult instantly, then eat the monkey and possibly divide if it can see another monkey
The worst is feeding an adult and it divides when the monkey barely comes out of the disposal unit
This bug is weird and unreliable in such a way, that sometimes they just stare at the monkey for a full dozen seconds before finally maturing or dividing, and sometimes it happens instantly
What you expected to happen
for baby slimes to grow adult when fed, not on seeing a monkey or not
What actually happened
breeding slimes becomes even more an erratic endeavor and this is clearly a bug
Steps to reproduce
1 feed one monkey to a slime
2 the baby slime isn't maturing unless you show it a monkey inside or outside it's pen
3 the adult slime will eat another monkey but not divide unless it can see another monkey inside or outside it's pen
4 kek yourself feeding an adult slime that's already about to divide
