Option to display or hide field in backend and index page

Just a suggestion to add to module builder we could choose the fields that we want to display or hide in the event form and index page
and we could choose it in preferences of our module

something like

hi thank you for your suggestion, but I do not think that this make sense:

for e.g. in my new module wgEvents I have 169 fields

making preferences for up to 169 fields?

IMO this would blow up the module and especially the preferences

and: modulebuilder should help to create a basic solid structure of a module, and not handle all possibilities, because maintaining modulebuilder is right now a challenge, and with each extension it becomes more and more harder

We should not add the option for all the fields automatically maybe user can select just a few that they want to to have the hide/display option. yes this would only make sense for a small module. maybe next time
