UI configuration for climate, cover, sensor, eg. #155
Comments
Thanks a lot for your work! |
Thanks for your work , but also for me many things are still missing for a good integration yet. Could you please add Covers and Shutters, climate and so on to the nice webinterface to create entities ? |
The system is designed to be "easily" extended to other platforms. Switch was the "proof of concept," and Light was an attempt to implement a more complex configuration. Both seem to be working quite well so far. However, each platform has its own quirks that require some thought before implementation. As always, anyone with a bit of motivation is very welcome to contribute 🚀 I personally can't promise that I'll have time to implement new big features in the near future. But for development questions, I'm likely reachable on the xknx discord server or at GitHub. Schemas are found https://github.com/XKNX/knx-frontend/blob/main/src/utils/schema.ts and https://github.com/home-assistant/core/blob/dev/homeassistant/components/knx/storage/entity_store_schema.py |
I support covers and other entity when you have time |
Thanks for your work so far @farmio .
I think it's already on your list but I really would like to see the full power of the knx integration and beside that I want to be able to add/edit all knx entities with the UI.
Can you please add binary_sensor, climate, cover, sensor, weather and datetime as well :)
Thanks!
