  • Add guards for undefined variables allowing the engine to be imported in
    headless contexts (#232, @Carifio24). The engine can't run in any meaningful
    way in these contexts, but one may need access to types provided by the
    engine. In particular, in a Vue app with server-side rendering, the same code
    wants to run on both the client and the server-side rendering process, and
    this change makes this feasible.
