Based on the code, it looks like activateApp is called onResume already, implying that I shouldn't need to do anything manually. Based on this post, however, this is not the case (or at least was not at one point).

What is the current official workflow for tracking app installs?

I'm also trying to find an answer to this question... For iOS it works automatically, but it doesn't seem to work for Android.

It seems the onResume is not called when the plugin is not started on load. I changed one configuration and it worked. #1611
