Hi there.

Last release is from 04/23. This is 10 month now.

Is there something holding back from releaseing more often?

busyness with other projects, and wanting to fix some regressions with wayland

Technically, last release was built a week ago: https://github.com/Willy-JL/F95Checker/actions/runs/7858980990.
There is literally no difference between build artifacts and official releases, except former being beta, of course.

You don't have to build from source to get the latest and greatest, so I don't think it's an issue at all.
