Open Source COVID-19 collects open source projects during COVID-19. The projects are not necessarily hosted on GitHub, as long as it corporates in an open source way, that everyone can access, inspect and improve it.
The goal of this navigation site is to help people access data, contribute to the projects, and trigger new ideas.

The term open source refers to something people can modify and share because its design is publicly accessible. Open source software is software with source code that anyone can inspect, modify, and enhance. Some software has source code that only the person, team, or organization who created it—and maintains exclusive control over it—can modify. People call this kind of software "proprietary" or "closed source" software.
