Companies using SlmQueue? #224
Comments
I tagged you because you once raised an issue or contributed to SlmQueue. Hope you don't mind the spam. Would love to know if any of you use SlmQueue in one of your products. If so, and you would like to be listed on this issue, please comment with the product name / company name and a link. Cheers! 🤙 CC @itailulu, @antonycox, @jackdpeterson, @malinink, @davidwindell, @iit201108, @chris1312, @boesing, @abdullah-aghayan, @tantoniazi, @bakura10, @moteutsch, @bgallagher, @stefankleff, @makasim and @iwyg |
I've used it in the past, but after my PR got never merged Webador/SlmQueueBeanstalkd#60 I dropped it. The idea was good but this aint maintained anymore. |
It was probably never merged because the original maintainer(s) have left php development and moved on to other things. I believe nobody had access to it that variant. Now that all sim-queue variants are unified under a new owner this might change... I personally have taken care of slm-queue-doctrine. |
We're using it on two of our services (communal information system + digital signage), mostly for dispatching email notifications & updating news feed on the signage systems. |
We use it @outeredge on our project management/ticket system, http://zebreco.com/ |
@iwyg May I ask what company you are working for? I'll add that one to the list. @davidwindell Thanks! It's on the list now :). |
Not using this module anymore now that I’m not doing ZF based projects; I appreciate the abstraction of this module for sure, and it may be useful in the future ... but it’d need to have less framework coupling. Something I once considered writing and extending ... but didn’t have corporate support to dedicate the time to doing so. |
We have been using it on production with beanstalkd and supervisord |
@abdullah-aghayan May I ask for what company / product? |
Our company @churchtools uses SlmQueue. We use it in our new accounting module to create a bunch of PDFs. |
We use it too! |
@pimjansen Is this for a specific project, that I can mention at the top of this post? :) |
I can't say im afraid but you can mention the company though, Senet, also located in EHV |
Prosus. Internal Legal Website. |
I'm interested to know how many companies are actually using this library for their company. Feel free to drop a comment below with a link to your product. I'll update the issue with these responses.
