Currently all city/region names are only available in English, but they should also be available in the local language (e.g. Vienna -> Wien, Munich -> München) and the search should filter for that as well.

One solution could be to have them in both (local+English) languages in the YAML file - e.g. as Vienna/Wien and Munich/München. So they'd show alike in the list.
What do you think?

Would that scale?
What if you add Dutch, French, Spanish etc?
How do you notice that you missed a translation?
(Or do I get the request wrong?)

I understand the request differently: only (as a maximum) English and the local language (where the according city is located) would be needed. So I don't see a need for scaling.

Moving the Angels program to Discourse (as discussed here) will make it possible to map multiple e-mail addresses to one heaven. So there could be aliases in the YAML file that the search could also index.
