MacOS Monterey does not support this application #67
Comments
Same thing is on me as well. It doesn't seem to work on Mac OS Monterey |
Same for me (Monterey 12.1) (sad face) |
I explained it multiple of times since Catalina that Apple simply broke a lot of stuff in screensaver API under the Cloak of feigned security and never fixed it neither in Big Sur nor in Monterey. Let just speak a developer of another screensaver for macOS. |
anyone found out to to do it on Monterey yet?? |
Try this: Open a Finder window, press CMD+Shift+G, and paste: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.ScreenSaver.Engine.legacyScreenSaver/Data/Library/Preferences/ByHost (Drag your .gif files in there and then use it as the path.) |
cmd+shift+g is a folder finder?? |
In fact, I move the gif to the ~/ (i.e. the home), and it works. (M1, Monterey 12.3) |
please explain, I don't understand how to do it |
ok so what i did to fix it was change the location of the gif by clicking on it and sending it to home(cmd+shift+h) |
It says it is not updated
