Hello !

Now that Sailfish X has working NFC on XA2, how much work would it be to add support for NFC-based GCM sensors chips (e.g.: Abbot's FreeStyle Libre Sensor 1 ?

There is already opensource Android app Glimp supporting it, in addition to the official (a dedicated Freestyle Libre Reader box, official apps for iOS, etc.)
