How to sideload WSA language pack

The WSA Settings app installed via sideloading is in English language only. Is it possible to change the language? I tried installing the language msix file in the msixbundle but installation will fail, citing that a package is already installed. I also tried editing AppxManifest.xml and change "Language" unter "Resources" category to de-DE before installation but the settings app is still in English (WSA system however is already in German).

Not sure about this, but you can try to backup the "resources.pri" file in the WSA's folder and then copy the file with the same name from the language pack in the previous folder. 🤔

That won't work because the resource.pri file from the main package (English) has more content than the file in language packs (file size difference is enormous).

In that case, you may try to install it like the original WSA package with GApps: i.e. extract it, remove AppxBlockMap.xml, AppxSignature.p7x and [Content_Types].xml, and then register it via Add-AppxPackage in PowerShell. 🤔

you need a launcher, microsoft launcher app is the best, go to settings, search and select language then just change language like on pixel phones
