hi all. sorry for dropping off the map for a while.

We have been working on PanicAR 3.0 and will be releasing it for iOS and Android (a little later) in June.

Some of the features include:

  • full swift support
  • bitcode support
  • better sensor correction
  • generally better and faster
  • api equivalence with android

PanicAR 3.0 will be a free upgrade for all existing licensees.
Please email us at [email protected] if you want access to the beta version.

Let us know here if you have any feature requests.

thanks for your patience,

Andreas & team

Any update? I emailed to get onto the beta and had no response sadly.

Also it is now July.... 😞

Dear all,

thanks for your patience and apologies for the delay.

Here we are. PanicAR 3.0 is available on the beta branch in this repository:
https://github.com/Vuframe/PanicAR
(please note: we moved it from https://github.com/doPanic/PanicAR)

Changelog:
v3.0 (build 3261)

  • add: Bitcode
  • add: 64bit slice
  • add: Xcode 7 support
  • add: latest device definitions (iPad Pro, iPhone SE)
  • add: iOS 9 support

This release is a free upgrade for everybody.

The only thing still pending is a new demo app written in Swift with working Swift integration. Please stay tuned for that.

Please note: the master branch is still pointing to the last stable release, so make sure to check out the Beta branch to get to version v3.0.

Best,

  • Andreas
