Enabling/Disabling custom CodeLens from an own created command

Is there a way to programatically toggle the Show [Custom extension name] check from the Visual Studio CodeLens options? The idea is to create a command, executed by a custom button, that could enable/disable the codelenses from the extension. Thanks in advance.
