Trying to encode a 9000 frame 4kx4k JPEG image sequence and have tried with both virtual dub and Adobe Media encoder but this is currently taking up to and possibly over 32hours.
Virtual dub reports a rate of ~0.5fps

Windows 7 Running on a new HP Z440 workstation with an Nvidia GTX980ti. See no gpu activity via gpuz while encoding.
