API endpoint for streaming ML predictions to recordings

I'm thinking this should maybe mimic the data websocket/post endpoints and just write to the recording directory instead of redis? And additionally providing endpoints to pull from recordings (mirroring pulling from redis so it's easy to switch back and forth) would be great.

Basically people keep talking about testing out new models and comparing between different models and we don't really have the infrastructure to manage that with non-live data.
