<h4>What is UnitedCTF?</h4>
<p><strong>UnitedCTF</strong> is a cybersecurity/programming contest tailored towards students across Quebec.</p>
<h4>Who are the Organizers?</h4>
<p><strong>UnitedCTF</strong> is a coalition between the following student clubs:</p>

<h4>Who is eligible for prizes?</h4>
<p>This competition is open for all students across Quebec. Please use your university email in order to be eligible for prizes.</p>
<p><strong>Global top 3: </strong>Each university student having a valid university email address is eligible to receive a plaque in addition to a gift card.</p>
<p><strong>Local top 3: </strong>If you're in the top 3 of your university but not in the global top 3, your university will take care of your prize.</p>
<h4>Can I play in a team?</h4>
<p>No, this is an individual CTF.</p>
<h4>General information</h4>
<ul>
<li>Communication happens via our official <a href="https://discord.gg/3jwhzDVSN3">Discord</a> guild.</li>
<li>The competition will span across a week (<b>September 30th at 18:30 - October 7th at 13:00 EDT</b>).</li>
<li>Dynamic scoring is used for all challenges (i.e., the more solves a challenge gets, the less points it is worth).</li>
<li>All flags match the following regex, unless otherwise specified: <code>^FLAG-.+$</code>.</li>
<li>Challenges will be released in waves, so even if you complete all challenges, stay tuned for other challenge releases.</li>
<li>Any critical information about the competition will be communicated via Discord and/or the CTFd platform.</li>
</ul>
<h4>General rules</h4>
<ol>
<li>First of all, make sure to have fun!</li>
<li>Treat everyone with respect, that includes both the organizers and your fellow contestants.</li>
<li>DoS/DDoS attacks against the infrastructure and/or the challenges are strictly prohibited.</li>
<li>Do not brute-force the flag submission forms.</li>
<li>Brute-forcing challenge endpoints is not allowed, unless otherwise specified.</li>
<li>Report any issues you encounter with the infrastructure and/or tasks directly to the organizers.</li>
<li><strong>UnitedCTF</strong> is meant to be played individually, collaboration is not allowed. Do not discuss challenges with other players.</li>
<li>If you solve a challenge, submit the flag immediately, we do not tolerate flag hoarding.</li>
<li>Usage of automatic exploitation tools and mass vulnerability scanners is strictly prohibited.</li>
<li>Social engineering attempts against the organizers will result in a sanction.</li>
<li>Do not share or post any flags or solutions publicly during the CTF.</li>
<li>The flag you're looking for is under this tag, remove all digits before submitting it.</li>

<li>Keep your solutions (screenshots, scripts, etc.) in case the organizers ask you to provide them.</li>
<li><strong>UnitedCTF</strong> organizers reserve the right to disqualify people suspected for breaking the rules of the CTF.</li>
