Upcoming release 2024.7.0b2 breaks chip styling

Describe the bug
Seems like the upcoming changes to HA have negative effect on chips: labels are shortened and display ... and chips no longer left align but seem to be unevenly distributed over the width of the column

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

On second thought, may be a horizontal-stack thing, but an alternative may be needed if horizontal stack behaviour changes permanently
