Give Shiva a smooth touch sensitivity, via software with response curves.
OR give ability to manually control the volume of each chanel via software (with @David-Estevez preety GUI)

I suggest to take the values in the gap over the threshold and under the input limit of the HW.
And adjust this to a value between 1 and 127 on MIDI volume control.

Also, a volume multiplier control in the GUI: to make heavy sounds without damaging your furniture, or make soft sounds with sensitive piezos.
