Getting ERR_UNKNOWN_FILE_EXTENSION on node 20.2.0 ( works for node 18.16.0 )

Hi,
I am having a simple hello world which works well when run with node 18.16.0 . But when I use same configuration with node 20.2.0. then I am getting this error

TypeError [ERR_UNKNOWN_FILE_EXTENSION]: Unknown file extension ".ts" for C:\Users\Bla\poc\hello\typescript\tsnode\index.ts

Is this a bug or is there a special config to get it going?
