Feel my web traffic is being tunneled but it shouldn't be.

I have been using tunnlto in order to only have some applications going through the vpn with AllowedApp option.
I assume that all the other applications that aren't in AllowedApp won't go throught the vpn.

However, I feel some of my traffic still go through the VPN ( it is much slower when tunnelto is enabled ).

Hi, you could use a browser that is not in the AllowedApp's to search google for "what is my ip". The IP should be different to your WireGuard server.

We're looking to add more visibility of what the tunnel is doing - bandwidth input/output etc.

You can post up your configuration (with endpoint/keys omitted) and I can confirm if it is all correct.

This issue could be related to the DNS configuration. In Wireguard, specifying a DNS server results in routing all DNS queries through the tunnel. If the DNS response is slow or if some responses are lost, it can lead to a degradation in response time for other applications. To resolve this, you can either remove the DNS settings or add 'dnscache' to the DisallowedApps list.

Thanks for your help, I tried to add dnscache to the DisallowedApps list but it didn't change anything unfortunately, as for removing the dns I think you have to specify something inside TunnlTo for the config to be valid.

Hmm, in Wireguard config you can omit the DNS, though not sure if TunnlTo interface allows this.

I have that field set to required. I'll have to update that in the next version.
