Where is Public key for Local interface?

It's not required for a "client" setup. Can you provide some details around your setup and what your desired outcome is?

I need to specify client's Public key in server's peer settings. Yes I can generate keys pair on server side and transfer both to client, but it's not always appropriate...

Alright so the public key for the local interface is automatically derived from the local interface private key. You may have the public key from when the keypair was generated, but if not, you can derive the public key from your private key using wg pubkey < your-private-key > pubkey from the command line in Linux.

How did you initially generate the private key for the local interface?

I'll need to look at adding a read-only public key field to the local interface part of the form. The value would automatically generate based on the private key input. This is similar to what happens in the official WireGuard client.

I have a tool to generate private key on client side and as 'native' app shows public key for corresponding interface automatically, I had no problem with it. I don't want to generate key pair on the server when I can't 100% securely transfer it to client...
In my opinion, the ideal solution is how it's made on Macos client: client generates private key by itself and only shows it's public key for the server. Thanks!

Since my last post I have implemented two things in the latest version:

1. A local interface public key field now automatically derives the public key from the private key.
2. There is a button to generate a key pair for the local interface.
